Citing transparency and current legislation, Fairfield police on Wednesday released video footage of a June 26 officer-involved shooting in Vallejo.
The suspect, identified as 39-year-old Patrick Lee Hall, reportedly suffered injuries that were not life-threatening. His city of residence was unavailable at press time.The newly-released footage from two bodycams reveals details as they unfolded. Be warned that the video is graphic.
No audio was recorded, but a round was seen striking the patrol car’s windshield and entering the driver’s seat headrest, narrowly missing the officer. In Vallejo, Hall exited onto Highway 37. A spike strip punctured his tires and he stopped near Griffin and Gateway drives.
