"At the end of the day, as long as we got married this year on that day, with my son and a few close people, we would be happy," Mr Bliesner said.Cathy Smith and Mick Bliesner had come up with contingency plans to ensure their wedding met previous social distancing rules.The five-guest limit was expanded to 20 people on June 1 and the State Government announced further relaxations to allow 100 guests from midday Friday.
The changes mean that Ms Smith, whose friends tease her for being highly organised, had to roll with a situation that was out of her control.
