Asian American and African American artists highlight a stunning collection of exhibits, as Bay Area museums return to live schedules.
Rod Adams’ 2002 color lithograph “Blackburn” is on display at the Bedford Gallery in Walnut Creek with other works from the The Harmon and Harriet Kelley Collection of African American Art.Bay Area museums are moving full speed ahead with exhibits this fall, at least compared to the openings/reopenings and tentative schedules during the past COVID-19 pandemic years.
Already drawing “fall season” crowds is “Ramses the Great and the Gold of the Pharaohs” at the de Young Museum . The popular “Guo Pei: Couture Fantasy” has been extended to Nov. 27 at the Legion of Honor.
