One of rugby league’s modern enigmas will make his return, leading a teammate to declare him ready to prove he was no spent force.
Seen as one of NRL’s modern enigmas, Origin star Anthony Milford will make his long-awaited return on Friday, named on the Dolphins’ bench to take on the Broncos in the Battle of Brisbane.
Team-mate Felise Kaufusi was adamant Milford’s days were not numbered, backing him to provide class and X-factor off the bench against his former club. Flegler has been named to take his place and prove his fitness, but Farnworth is expected to miss at least a month as Tesi Niu – who scored a try and ran for 141m, but missed five tackles, for Norths Devils on Saturday – earns a recall in the centres.
