Families members of some of the elderly residents who died in Newmarch House are demanding answers after a worker brought the virus into the elderly home. 9News

A worker, who at the time presented no symptoms and was unaware they had contracted COVID-19, is believed to have brought the virus into the home on one of their shifts.But families say they want answers.Shine is alleging the operators were negligent and breached a duty of care.

Shine also said the relatives want to know why their loved ones weren't immediately taken to hospital after testing positive.
