Foxtel CEO Patrick Delany has paid tribute to Australian television supremo Brian Walsh after he died unexpectedly, as those in the entertainment industry share their memories of the executive.

Mr Delany later that morning appeared on Sky News Australia to reveal Mr Walsh's family were in"shock" following his sudden death. “He had an extraordinary life and accomplished so much. His contributions were celebrated and widely acknowledged. We will always remember him by his love of family, his generosity and the value he put on a life not wasted but full and well lived.
Jayes recalled the times she met Mr Walsh, saying the executive showed care for talent by listening to what they had to say and ensured products were made to high quality.
