SAN ANTONIO – Deputies were forced to break up a brawl that happened during Friday’s court hearing for the case involving Victor Nathaneal Rivas.Back in May 2022, two teenagers were detained after 15-year-old Ethan Noel Soto was fatally shot in a west side neighborhood.
Officials say that during the court hearing, it was reported that the defendant, Rivas gestured towards the family of Soto. That is when Soto’s family members jumped during the partition inside of the courtroom to assault Rivas. The two sheriff’s bailiffs immediately responded to break up the fight, but additional family members also became disruptive. Deputies were able to break up the fight and placed four individuals into custody.Loading ...
