Melissa Michelle Bear, 33, was expecting her sixth child next month. She was killed in Saskatoon on Aug. 29.
Naytowhow said family members will attend court as much as they can for his future appearances.
“It’s so hard to have the unanswered questions, and maybe we will never get all the answers we need, but we love her and we miss her. Every thinking moment we’re wondering what happened to her, and her unborn baby,” Naytowhow told media outside the courthouse.Naytowhow was surrounded by loved ones who carried a sign reading “Justice for Melissa and Baby Bear.”Saskatoon police found Bear after officers responded to a call just before 10:30 p.m. on Aug.
“I know it’s going to be a long road, but I told her I was going to be my sister’s strength, I was going to be here to comfort her, to cry with her and to find every kind of answer that I can for her, because she can’t be here because she’s looking after the little children that Melissa Michelle left,” Naytowhow said.Melissa Michelle Bear, 33.Bluebell is next scheduled to appear in Saskatoon provincial court on Sept. 13.
