He confirmed he had been offered the eye-watering sum to sing at Madison Square Garden, an enormous indoor arena in New York, at the campaign event for Trump. Legendary singer-songwriter Beyoncé addressed the crowds at a Kamala Harris rally in Texas last week, telling attendees it was time for America to “sing a new song”.
