Fans have been reacting to Conor McGregor's acting debut in the remake of the film Road House, which was released to the public on Thursday.champion has made his Hollywood debut in Amazon Prime Video's reimagining of the classic 1980s action movie starring Patrick Swayze.
In the new version of the film, Oscar-nominated Gyllenhaal plays a former UFC fighter James Dalton, who is now working as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse.The action-packed film, directed by Doug Liman, has been given mixed reviews upon its release."Pretty awful acting from McGregor I'm afraid. Brought an already average movie down further," posted one viewer on X.
"I didn't know how I was going to take to it. I didn't know whether I was going to like it, to be honest. "I'm a fighting man - that's my bread and butter. It's where I come from... I'm not an actor, but I'm show business. That was my vibe to it. I felt that. I enjoyed every second of it."The Irishman has not fought in the octagon since his defeat to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July, 2021.
