Kidman rose to fame in the 1989 film Dead Calm and soon went on to star alongside Tom Cruise in Days of Thunder the following year.The star’s best-known roles include Moulin Rouge, Lion, The Hours, Australia and the TV series Big Little Lies.Fans have reacted to the exciting news, proclaiming she is “so deserving of this award”.“She’s a fabulous deep brilliant person and actress, I love her body of work,” one tweeted.entertainment reporter Peter Ford remarked on the news on Thursday.
