Fans of The Chase show pay tribute to a contestant named Pete, who was described as a 'legend' by viewers. Pete, a semi-retired medieval trader and scare actor, captured the hearts of the audience despite not winning the game.
As ever, Bradley Walsh hosted the popular quiz show on ITV on Tuesday. Tom, Estelle, Jessica and Pete had never met before but they worked together to try and beat the chase r and take home a sum of money.
Jessica bravely went for the high offer of £45,000 and made it back to the team as fans took to social media to praise her actions. But it was Pete who stole the show. Upon Pete's turn, fans took to social media to share their tributes as they said he had tragically died and they recognised the "legend". One person wrote: "RIP Pete."A third added: "Beloved Pete, God Bless him. Rest in Eternal Peace." A fourth simply said: "Pete the legend."
