Organisers of Australia’s biggest music festival are determined to push ahead at Byron Bay’s Splendour In The Grass as they beg fans to make the most of the event. 7NEWS
“The ground is soft! Please wear your gumboots and rug up at night,” organisers added.UK stars Gorillaz were the first day headliners and the cancellation sparked fury on social media as fans demanded the festival reschedule the act for another day on the weekend.
“Gorillaz are the entire reason 50 per cent of us came here. Please reorganise their set so that we can see them or that’s thousands down the drain for thousands,” one Facebook-user posted. “If Gorillaz don’t play we will be expecting a full refund on our three day tickets.
