A recent clip from Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore reveals a new look at Hogwarts' famous Room of Requirement. After a nearly 4 year absence from the big screen, Warner Bros.' Harry Potter prequel series returns next month with The Secrets of Dumbledore. The movie looks to further the wizarding battle that's brewing between the forces of the light, led by Albus Dumbledore , and the villainous Gellert Grindelwald .
The Fantastic Beasts franchise is at a critical point right now. Despite being the prequel to one of the most beloved sagas of all time, fan reception to Fantastic Beasts has been decidedly mixed. The second installment, 2018's The Crimes of Grindelwald, earned the worst reviews and box office numbers of any Wizarding World movie yet.
In addition to the Room of Requirement, the Fantastic Beasts 3 clip goes hard on its Harry Potter connections through its music, which contains strains of John Williams' iconic score. Many have noted that The Secrets of Dumbledore is turning things away from Newt and his beasts, instead putting a stronger focus on Albus and his past. For those who have missed Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts 3 could actually provide the nostalgia they're all looking for.
