Leeds United recorded 21 shots as they saw off Bristol City 2-1 at Elland Road in the Championship
Daniel Farke knows Leeds United’s win over Bristol City could and should have been considerably more straightforward at Elland Road on Saturday. The Whites were deserved winners in the end, with goals from Dan James and Joel Piroe being enough to claim a 2-1 victory against Nigel Pearson’s Robins, but they certainly went about it the hard way.
“Pretty happy with how much we created against such a really well-structured and well-organised side,” Farke said after the game on Saturday. “The only thing I can and need to criticise today is the effectiveness in using our chances because the game should be buried and done already at half-time. “Of course, if you use the chance to score goals then the game is perfect and everything's done, but if not then the opponent uses the other way around it, it becomes a bit more transition-transition. I have to say again, in the second half was unbelievable amount of chances and we didn't allow them to have one chance out of the game.
