A farmer says he fears for his children’s safety after an out-of-control dog killed chickens and ripped an entire leg off a sheep at his farm.
He said: “We got up to take the kids to school and we were on our way to get some animal feed. We got a call from a neighbour saying: ‘There’s a dog running around your farm. It doesn’t look like one of yours.’ Terry said: “It’s devastated my partner, it’s upset me. The kids have come home and are heartbroken about their chickens.”
“They say these dogs are great around kids, but dogs that attack kids are great around them until they attack them. Then it’s too late.
