The wife of a Tasmanian man who died in floods in 2016 told police the floodwater that killed her husband "came so quickly" and she had "never seen anything like it before".He was feeding sheep at the time and did not initially see the water approach, an inquest has heardTrevor Foster, 81, died on June 6, 2016, when floodwaters swept his property at Ouse in southern Tasmania.
Ouse farmer Trevor Foster hopped up on a fence after he noticed floodwaters arrive on his property but he was swept away. She said Mr Foster had his back to the water at the time but it was "no use yelling as he was hard of hearing".
