For the Carmody family, the first option was staying close to home and purchasing a tree farm to clear, which they have successfully done. "So by having livestock in the system, it means you can cut fodder, which means you get a different time of harvesting, and you can use a different spray regime to get rid of some of the herbicide tolerance."
