The former Light Blues attacker has netted his second goal in consecutive games since departing the Ibrox club as he helped his side secure a big point on the road at Al-Hilal
Fashion Sakala is making quite the impression in the Saudi Pro League after netting his second goal for Al-Fayha.
The match did end 1-1 but it was another impressive outing for the ex-Light Blues man with his new club sitting on four points from a possible six after two games. Al-Ittihad - who boast former Celtic star Jota in their ranks - are the early leaders with maximum points from their two outings so far and are yet to concede a goal. Steven Gerrard, the man who signed Sakala for Rangers, is also two for two at new club Al-Ettifaq after a 2-0 win on the road at Al-Hazm.
Speaking about the departure of Sakala to the Rangers official website earlier this month, Beale commented: “Fashion Sakala was a hugely popular person in our squad and played an important role in the team from the moment I arrived as manager.
