Father Ted star Joe Rooney engaged to 'his soulmate' as fiancée flaunts gorgeous ring
Father Ted star Joe Rooney has announced he is engaged to 'his soulmate', Nerea, in a snap showing off her gorgeous ring.
The pair stood in a park, with plenty of trees behind them, and Joe wore a worn leather jacket and a wide smile. His followers were quick to offer their congratulations in the comments, as one said: "Congratulations to you both, delighted for you Joe. The wait is always worth it when we find the one.""Am glad you found love," wrote a third, whilst a fourth said: "Congratulations!! You look so happy, both of you."Nerea shared the same post to her own Instagram, as she gushed about Joe.
A smitten Joe commented: "Gosh Nerea, I love you so much," with a red love heart emoji, which she replied to by tagging him and adding some heart eye emojis and a red love heart.Joe has long been a much-loved character on Father Ted, which aired over three series from 21 April 1995 until 1 May 1998.
