A report from Sydney Trains showed that 85 per cent of trains showed up within five minutes of the schedule
Five fatalities and four extreme weather events caused delays and cancellations across the network last month, Sydney Trains said.
The T1 Western Line was the worst, with 78.5 per cent of trains showing up on time, followed by the T1 North Shore Line, at 78.7 per cent. "We had a number of significant emergency incidents that were largely out of our control... did create impacts for customers," Sydney Trains CEO Matt Longland said.
"They've managed to blame the weather, and Taylor Swift, they've managed to blame commuters," Ward said.
