Following Mississippi's flooding and water crisis, Jackson Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba said President Biden will help fully with the recovery process.
Mississippi’s capital city is struggling with multiple water problems — too much on the ground after heavy rain in the past week, and not enough safe water coming through pipes for people to use. Groups across Mississippi rallied Wednesday to support Jackson in beating the sweltering August heat amid the city's ongoing water crisis, and the federal government is also lending a hand.
