Andrew Giles is fighting for his job as the Coalition ramps up its attack on the embattled frontbencher over his handling of Ministerial Direction 99.Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The government confirmed yesterday it would re-write the direction which saw a string of non-citizens convicted of serious and violent crimes avoid being deported. Giles told ABC Radio's AM the new direction, which is still a work in progress, would prioritise community safety.
