Sydney commuters are in for another day of train cancellations and delays as a dispute between the rail union and NSW government drags on.
Claassons also said the deed provided by the NSW government on Wednesday looked nothing like the one he signed earlier this year. Claassons said the union did not trust the government, citing broken promises on train fixes and the state’s attempt earlier this year to shut the rail system down and blame the RTBU for it.
Claassons said the handling of the rolling dispute by the government and media had been “less than helpful” and the union was just following minimum standards establish by NSW railway managers.
