Casemiro netted Man United's second goal of the game at Old Trafford as Erik ten Hag's men came from 2-0 down to take all three points.
Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes was attempting to set Marcus Rashford up for a long-range effort in what turned out to be a brilliant move for Casemiro's goal against Nottingham Forest.
Christian Eriksen pulled one back and as United continued to push forward Casemiro levelled the game on 52 minutes. The Brazilian was on hand to net from close range after what looked like a training ground routine. “After that he did a great touch and the cross from Rashy is what made the goal. The ball from him was amazing, the right timing with the right pace, for me it was about getting it into the goal or understanding if someone was in a better position.
Fernandes was United's best player on the day and was handed the chance to grab all three points from the penalty spot with 15 minutes to go when Rashford was brought down by Danilo. The Reds captain fired emphatically into the bottom corner to make it 3-2 and complete the comeback.
