Jose Soto learned to be careful what you wish for against Joselito Velasquez
Although Soto answered the referee’s count, he was clearly out on his feet and the official made the right decision to stop the fight.
Velasquez is now 15-0-1 with a single draw the only slight blemish on his record, but he has 10 knockouts to his name, too.camp and the 28 year old says it has made a huge difference to his development.“Training with Eddie and alongside ‘Canelo’ has been a real blessing. I’ve learned a lot and I’m inspired,” he said. “It makes a huge difference and it makes me a better fighter overall.
“I’ve adapted well to their training and discipline. I’ve also incorporated some of their more defensive style into my own and it’s just made me a more complete fighter.”
