Sydneysiders will soon gobble down the famed Lune Croissant with the Melbourne-based pastry marvel revealing the long-awaited location of its first Sydney store.
Cult favourite pastry phenomenon Lune croissanterie has delighted Sydney siders by announcing a location for its flagship store in the harbour city.And sweet-tooths in Sydney were finally dealt an afternoon delight on Monday with the pastry trend setters revealing a store opening in the city’s inner south by spring.“Dear Sydney . Long have I cast my eyes northwards to your beautiful, shimmering harbour,” Lune founder Kate Reid announced on Instagram.
"It was old and industrial, like my Fitzroy digs, and had plenty of space for all the things that make Lune so special," Ms Reid said. “Right now, the painters and decorators are hard at work turning a big old factory space into a croissant wonderland," the post read.Rosebery Engine Yard is currently undergoing transformation for Lune to make its mark in Sydney. The announcement was met with resounding delight from Sydneysiders who expressed their excitement following years of Lune teasing its launch in the NSW capital.Another person said Lune would be “so welcomed” in Sydney in an affectionate response.
