Fire service secure pay increase at Glasgow Airport
Unite general secretary Sharon Graham said: “Unite really is delivering for workers based in Scottish airports. This is a cracking deal for our Falck members based at Glasgow Airport.
In a string of success stories across Scottish airports, Unite has recently announced pay deals involving hundreds of members. A further 100 workers employed by Glasgow Airport Limited will receive a seven per cent increase on basic salary rates and allowances along with a £1,000 one-off payment. Pat McIlvogue, Unite industrial officer, added: “The pay offer accepted by our Falck fire services members is a good deal.
