UPDATE: A massive fire at a Philly Catholic school was placed under control. One firefighter suffered minor injuries. ABaskerville10 has the latest details HERE:
The fire began around 3:40 p.m. at Our Mother of Consolation School on Chestnut Hill and Germantown avenues in the city’s Chestnut Hill neighborhood. SkyForce10 was above the scene as heavy flames and smoke rose from the top of the building. The school was evacuated.
Firefighters are battling a massive fire at a Catholic school in Philadelphia's Chestnut Hill neighborhood. More than 120 firefighters and medics responded to the fire which reached three alarms. The fire was placed under control at 5:10 p.m. One responding firefighter was taken to the hospital after suffering minor injuries.Officials have not yet determined a cause. The Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
