Firefighters are frantically working to extinguish an out-of-control bushfire raging on the outskirts on Perth in Western Australia.
A large fire has been burning at an emergency level near the Perth Hills for several hours, prompting a huge response from emergency crews to tackle the blaze which has already ravaged 650 hectares of land.
An emergency warning is currently in place for locals in parts of Red Hill, Millendon, Herne Hill and Baskerville in the City of Swan, about 25 kilometres from Perth CBD.Residents in these areas are in danger from the fire and need to act immediately.Those whose evacuation routes have been blocked by the fire are now being told to shelter in place.
