A family of six will need a new place to stay after a fire, believed to have been ignited by a candle, heavily damaged their home.
At one point, more than a dozen fire units were on the scene of this house fire in the 13400 block of Bret Harte.– San Antonio firefighters are urging caution when it comes to using candles after a family lost their Northeast Side home to a candle-related fire.
All of them escaped safely when their home, located in the 13400 block of Bret Harte, went up in flames just before 7:30 a.m.Four members of the family were home at the time and escaped, but a pet dog died.
