The leaves are falling from the trees, the nights are drawing in and there's a definite autumnal chill in the air as you get out of bed in the morning which means the countdown to Bonfire Night has begun. The tradition marks the anniversary of the failed Gunpowder Plot in 1605, when Guy Fawkes and a group of dissident Catholics, attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament.
Get ready for fireworks set to music, a funfair, food and drink. There will also be priority parking available. Gates open at 5pm, fireworks at 7.30pm. Admission adults from £9.50 and children from £4.50. Under fives go free. Tickets available here Other attractions include fire performers, food stalls, funfair rides and licensed bars.
