Melbourne woman Krystal Eve Browitt, 21, has been formally identified by New Zealand police as one of the tourists killed in the White Island volcano eruption.

Ms Browitt's sister Stephanie and her father Paul are believed to be in hospital in Melbourne, receiving treatment for injuries caused by the blast.It is understood that her mother, Marie, had stayed behind on board the cruise ship at the time of the volcano's eruption, and remains by the bedside of her family in hospital.21-year-old Krystal Eve Browitt has been identified by New Zealand police as a victim of the volcano eruption.

All 13 Australians who suffered burns have been transported to hospitals around Australia for treatment, with at least ten people still in critical conditions on Saturday.Formal identification of the six bodies recovered from the island on Friday is ongoing and it remains unclear when police will be able to confirm the identities of the other victims.

Sydney's Hollander brothers Berend, 16, and Matthew, 13, and Coffs Harbour man Jason Griffiths died in hospital from their burns, while Adelaide man Gavin Dallow, 53, was declared dead on Wednesday.Fears are held for Berend and Matthew's parents Martin and Barbara Hollander, while Sydney couple Anthony and Kristine Langford and their daughter Winona, 17, are missing.

Extended family have indicated the Langfords' son Jesse, 19, survived. He's likely among those being treated in Sydney.
