THE first Barbie dolls with prosthetic legs and hearing aids have been launched, alongside a range of dolls with different body types.
The new diverse dolls include a Ken doll with skin pigment condition vitiligo and a Barbie in a wheelchair.Other new Kens will be shorter and less muscular.Makers Mattel launched the inclusive Fashionista range in 2016.Barbie boss Lisa McKnight said: “Barbie wholeheartedly believes in the power of representation.”
