Following Les and Nancy’s Samba to Hues Corporation’s Rock The Boat on Saturday night, they wound up in the bottom two, meaning that they had to face the dreaded dance-off opposite radio presenter Nikita Kanda and her partner Gorka Márquez. After watching both of the routines – with Nikita and Gorka doing a Charleston to a heavily-criticised rendition of Beyoncé’s Single Ladies – the time came for the judges’ vote.
First up was Craig Revel Horwood, who announced: ‘The couple I would like to save and who I think danced the best on the night and was the most improved is Nikita and Gorka.’
