REA Group’s Cameron Kusher says most first-home buyers are not “buying a home that they’re going to live in forever”.

Mr Kusher said buyers looking to get into the market would benefit from the new land tax option for NSW homes.

“It’s going to allow you to get into the market sooner than you otherwise be able to,” he told Sky News Australia. “Our forecast is nationally, prices will probably fall somewhere between 10 and 15 per cent, and in NSW, those falls will be larger.”
