Champion jockey Frankie Dettori has landed in Australia two weeks ahead of the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me out of Here!
The first campmate headed for the I’m A Celeb jungle is reported to have touched down in Australia as champion jockey Frankie Dettori has been spotted Down Under.The 52-year-old had been working in the US before he headed to Melbourne.
"Unfortunately, this year I'm suspended, so I can ride but I will support the Melbourne Cup carnival for the week, see some old friends riding and have a smashing time at the racing. Hopefully we see some good winners, so make sure you come and see us."View gallery Dettori is in town for the Melbourne Cup and he hasn’t confirmed he’s part of this year’s ITV line-up.
Contestants who sign up for the annual reality contest hosted by Ant and Dec usually arrive in Australia around a week before the programme kicks off. That means Dettori is in the country earlier than the rest of his reported new campmates, but the mirror reports his next big race day is Boxing Day, meaning he’s got plenty of time to take part if the rumours are true.
