First Lady Dr. Jill Biden returned to Ohio on Friday, and her trip centered on conversations about education and eggs.
She began her morning in Union County with a tour of Outward Farms, a third-generation family-owned egg farm in Raymond. Her visit coincided with World Egg Day."Dr. Biden will learn firsthand from third-generation egg farmer Sandra Lausecker, founder and CEO of Outward Farms, about what it takes to produce eggs, get them to market and feed America’s families. The tour will be hosted by the American Egg Board with Outward Farms, and celebrates U.S.
Education has been a priority for Biden, and the farm also has made education-focused efforts to be transparent with consumers about its setup and egg-producing processes, which have a potential for 5,000 dozen eggs day, according to data from the farm.
