The first images of Virgin Hotels Glasgow have been unveiled as the luxury hotel gets set to open in the city to the public this weekend for the first time.
Virgin Hotels has announced the opening of its latest hotel in Glasgow on the banks of the city’s famous River Clyde.
Led by executive chef Jean-Paul Giraud, previously head chef at The Spanish Butcher, Commons Club restaurant will offer a selection of exciting modern dishes, while the bar will offer a range of signature cocktails, as well as Scottish whiskies, spirits, beer and wine. Reservations for Commons Club and its mezzanine Highyard are now live and can be made at virginhotels.com. Guests can experience each of the dining spaces with an introductory offer of 25% discount off the total food bill, valid on all lunch and dinner bookings until September 30, 2023.
Each room will have features such as wood-sliding doors separating the sleep and relaxation lounge from the dressing area, stand-alone vanity units with mounted illuminated mirrors, Virgin Hotels’ patented ergonomically designed bed with a channel-tufted headboard; Hypnos™ mattress; a red SMEG® mini-fridge generously stocked with local products; an HD TV and a yoga mat.
