Hugh Bonneville in a darker role? We're into it.
's George MacKay and Percelle Ascott play Toby and Jay, a pair of social activists and graffiti artists that target the wealthy. After a disagreement, Toby decides to break into the house of Bonneville's former High Court Judge, Sir Hector Blake.
There he discovers more than he bargained for, and it leads him and his loved ones into a lot of potential danger. The trailer doesn't reveal what exactly that secret is, but we hear Hector tell Toby about how freeing it was to give into his violent tendencies, plus the fact that he has worked with refugees a lot in his line of work... we can imagine it's something incredibly dark. It's quite the far cry from the roles Bonneville is used to playing, and we're here for it.
Maybe darker roles are something that the actor will stick with too, seeing as how he recently admitted that he thinks"I suspect, on a practical level, it's run its course now," he said."I think that was a good time to quit. I don't know. I'm never gonna second guess the future, but did think for a while, actually, yeah, why not, let's keep going."But I do think it could get a bit thin.
