The UCI world championship men's road race from Edinburgh to Glasgow is stopped for 50 minutes near the Carron Valley Reservoir.

The race started at 09.30 near the Scottish Parliament before heading through Edinburgh city centre towards the Queensferry Crossing.he race was restarted after protesters were removed and a white powder was laid on the roadThe cyclists then headed west towards the Carron Valley - where the protest stopped the race - before continuing over Crow Road into East Dunbartonshire.Riders will complete 10 laps of a 14.3km Glasgow City Circuit before finishing in George Square.
