Authorities have charged five people, including two doctors, in connection to Matthew Perry's fatal overdose in October 2023.
Matthew Perry 's personal assistant is among five people arrested in connection to the death of the Friends star last year.
On Thursday US Attorney Martin Estrada announced that five people, including Perry’s live-in personal assistant, had been arrested in connection to his death. Those arrested include Jasveen Sangha, 41, a.k.a. “The Ketamine Queen,” Dr Salvador Plasencia, 42, Kenneth Iwamasa, 59, Perry's assistant, Dr Mark Chavez, 54 and Erik Fleming, 54.
“We allege each of the defendants played a key role in his death by falsely prescribing, selling, or injecting the ketamine that caused Matthew Perry’s tragic death. Dr Plasencia and Dr Chavez allegedly sold about 20 vials of ketamine to Perry for $US55,000 over the two months leading to his death. Dr Plasencia could face up to 10 years in federal prison for each ketamine-related count and up to 20 years for each record's falsification count. Dr Chavez could face up to 10 years in federal prison.
