Investigators will examine a Sunshine Coast home where a large fire broke out overnight, leaving one man with serious burns.
Five people have been taken to hospital after a large fire took hold in a townhouse on the Sunshine Coast last night.
Emergency services were called to a double-storey unit complex on Tepequar Drive in Maroochydore about 10pm.A man suffered serious burns to his back and arms, while a woman was treated for burns to her feet and smoke inhalation.Investigators will examine the home this morning.Queensland Fire Department inspector Kent Mayne said several people called triple-zero to report the flames."There was a great threat of spreading to other townhouses.
