Five teenagers have been arrested and charged with more than 300 offences following a series of alleged break and enters across Brisbane's south and Gatton in recent weeks.

Police say the five boys, aged between 16 and 17, were involved in numerous break-and-enters and attempted break-ins at restaurants and businesses in Forest Lake in Brisbane's south-west on Thursday last week, August 29.

On Wednesday, the same two boys as well as a 17-year-old boy from Acacia Ridge were allegedly involved in a spate of break-ins at businesses in Plainland, near Ipswich, several restaurants in Sunnybank Hills, a premise in Oxley and more businesses in Forest Lake. The boys from Doolandella and Gatton were arrested earlier this week and charged with 50 and 43 offences respectively.A detective pulls a teenager out of bed to arrest him with property crimes in South East Queensland. The boys from Inala and Warwick are facing 94 property offences each.Acting Senior Sergeant Justin Suffolk said the investigation showcased the work done by crime squads and detectives across south-east Queensland.
