"It looks like I've got to come through Sydney, and Queensland is preventing me from doing do that, preventing me from getting much-needed, urgent follow-up surgery," Mr Edwards toldThe Federal Government requires people to quarantine in their port of arrival, and Mr Edwards' application to transit through Sydney was knocked back.
However, after alerting Queensland Health of the need to stop in Sydney and upon making the case to quarantine at home for his care needs, Mr Edwards said his application was declined.
