Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has announced a $75 million boost for flood-ravaged communities in New South Wales.
During his address at The Daily Telegraph Bush Summit 2022, Mr Albanese outlined it will got towards
flood levees and better flood mitigation, including voluntarily helping people move their homes higher.

PM announces $75 million post-disaster resilience for flood-affected areasPrime Minister Anthony Albanese has announced areas devastated by the floods earlier this year will receive $75 million in post-disaster resilience delivered by the Emergency Response Fund. The Prime Minister delivered this news today at the Daily Telegraph's 2022 Bush Summit in Griffith. “This money will go towards a flood impacts and risk management measures report ... flood mitigation infrastructure and voluntary house raising,” he said during an address at the summit. “It will cover all 62 LGAs affected by the February-March floods and comes on top of the assistance we have previously committed to.”
