Windsor local Scott Hinks was filmed approaching the Prime Minister and NSW Premier earlier on Wednesday over government inaction to mitigate the impacts of flooding in the Hawkesbury region.

Offer ends 31 October, 2022 “But there is no action being done by either party to rectify these problems and this is the fourth time we’ve flooded in 18 months and there’s no action.” Mr Hinks suggested the government could start with lowering the Warragamba Dam water level ahead of a significant rain event.
Hours before the heated exchange, Mr Albanese declared $1,000 disaster relief payments for residents in 23 flood-ravaged communities.
