Florence Pugh confirms that Hawkeye is, indeed, a Christmas show
If there was ever any doubt, Hawkeye star Florence Pugh confirms the Disney+ Marvel series is, in fact, a Christmas show. Florence Pugh played Yelena Belova in Hawkeye, looking to avenge her sister after falsely believing Jeremy Renner's Emerald Archer was responsible for Black Widow's death in Avengers: Endgame. Luckily, Hawkeye and Yelena squashed their shortlived beef, with the latter set to return – and possibly lead – a new superhero team in Thunderbolts.
Florence Pugh Joins Marvel's Thunderbolts Movie Marvel officially announced Thunderbolts at San Diego Comic-Con. The film will close out Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Jake Schreier is set to helm Thunderbolts and Black Widow scribe Eric Pearson penning the script. At the time this was the only information provided, but Marvel quickly followed up by revealing the Thunderbolts cast at D23 Expo.
