Florence Pugh's new movie, A Good Person, releases a first-look image from the Zach Braff-directed film. One of Hollywood's biggest young stars. Pugh's popularity exploded when she made her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Yelena Belova in Black Widow, later reprising the role for the Disney+ series Hawkeye. She will also star in Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer as Jean Tatlock and Denis Villeneuve's Dune: Part Two as Princess Irulan, which recently wrapped filming.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Now, almost two years after the project was first announced, the first look at A Good Person has finally arrived. Sky Cinema debuted an image from the film, saying it will showcase Pugh "as you’ve never seen her before," while also describing Braff's latest project as "a story of loss and hope.
Allison's would-be father-in-law will seemingly be played by the one and only Morgan Freeman, who appears to be Pugh's co-lead in A Good Person based on the cast listing. Other than these two stars, the cast also includes Molly Shannon, Ghostbusters: Afterlife's Celeste O'Connor, Life in Pieces alum Zoe Lister-Jones, and Dickinson's Chinaza Uche.
Scheduled to be released in theaters on March 24, 2023, A Good Person is positioned to be a precursor to a second resurgence in Pugh's career. After the Braff-directed drama, she has a series of high-profile projects coming up in Oppenheimer and Dune: Part Two. Pugh will follow that one-two punch by reprising her role as Yelena Belova once again in the MCU's Thunderbolts movie in 2024.
