As the NSW floods continues to unfold, Premier Dominic Perrottet has thanked emergency services and residents for their vigilance. Mr Perrottet said he has not heard from the Prime Minister, who is currently in Ukraine on military business. 9News MORE:
Multiple trains are cancelled and roads are closed as the latest flooding crisis unfolds in and around Sydney.In north-west Sydney, trains are not running between Mulgrave and Richmond on the T1 Western Line and T5 Cumberland Line. Replacement buses are being organised but are not yet ready.On the Hunter Line, trains are not running between Newcastle Interchange, Scone and Dungog in both directions.Windsor - Windsor Bridge is closed between Wilberforce Road and George Street.
Wallacia to Glenmore Park - Mulgoa Road is closed in both directions between Park Road/Silverdale Road and Glenmore ParkwayEast Hills - Henry Lawson Drive is closed between the M5 and Cheatle Street. Between Narrabeen and Oxford Falls - Wakehurst Parkway is closed in both directions. Oxford Falls Road is also closed.In the Hunter, Denman to Muswellbrook - Denman Road is closed in both directions.In the Central Tablelands, the Castlereagh Highway has closed in both directions between Gulgong and Dunedoo. Motorists ican divert via Wellington and Dubbo using Goolma Road, Mitchell Highway and Golden Highway.
F3 Parramatta River ferries - Alternative transport is running between Parramatta and Rydalmere due to the weir overflowing.Many bus services are affected by flooding across Sydney and may divert at short notice or terminate early.
